Jewellery Care

Purchased your new favourite item of jewellery and want some tips on how to keep it looking fresh? It’s easy!

  • Handle with care: Your polymer clay pieces are baked to ensure they’re solid enough to withstand daily wear, however they can also be delicate so try not to drop heavy items on them or drop them.
  • Avoid chemicals and perfumes: Try not to dirty the jewellery with oils, perfumes or makeup as these can make the surface dirty and dull their shine. If you need to clean polymer clay, you can do so with a baby wipe - for more stubborn marks, try a bit of nail polish remover on a cotton bud, but please note that this can damage the appearance of any resin or metallic foiled pieces.
  • Store safely: Remember to take off your jewellery before showering or swimming, and try not to sleep in them either. When storing, keep them somewhere safe like a jewellery box or pouch.
